Follow or Subscribe? What's the difference?
Following a blog is a great way to let the author's know who is in their audience. Your profile picture goes in the sidebar of the blog and there is usually a link back to your blog; if you publish a one online. Conversely, when you subscribe you and your profile are not publicly visible.
Subscribing to a blog via RSS allows the reader to get regular updates from multiple online sources without having to physically visit each blog or site. You can use whatever RSS reader you prefer. - If you use G-mail, Google Docs, or Blogger you will have no problems using Google Reader; a free online RSS reader.
